Aerial Photos Miami Marlins Park

Looking East From Over S.W. 27th Avenue
A new era for the former home of the Orange Bowl Stadium has at last begun.  On Sunday, April 1st, I chartered a helicopter from Bravo Helicopters and wanted to check out the new ballpark.  I understand the Miami Marlins frown on using the term "stadium"...  Well, inside being played was the last of two dress rehearsal exhibition games between the New York Yankees and Marlins.
I was really hoping the roof would be open giving me the opportunity to shoot down to the field and stands... quite a dynamic view from 500 feet up.  The next to the last shot in my series was captured with a Nikkor 16mm fish-eye lens from just about the same location as the cover of my book on the Orange Bowl.  Looking forward to getting inside the new place and will be attending the Boston Red Sox vs the Marlins in June.  Enjoy the aerial perspective!
