Time for a picnic...!  Ah, winter.  Many folks really can't find many good things about winter; high fuel bills, slush, frigid days... but one of the most beautiful moments in the winter season is immediately after a fresh snow fall.  Location for this calming scene is along the Damariscotta River, in the south part of the Town of Damariscotta, Maine; http://www.damariscottaregion.com/  I could not resist grabbing the camera while on Christmas holiday with family.  Center the ol' apple tree, hold still for the slow shutter and rip off a few frames... then back to the fire place and football!
